it sounded like this usual useless "grab that, grab this, throw that, throw this" 3D...like "oh god the phone is ringing in this scene make sure his arm grabs for the audience huhuha" ... lame...I want them to use the real potential..like in a big battle scene ...you have the armies in the background...but the 2 main-dudes fighting there duell right in 3d infront of theater as we most times see it with "reaching out hands and throwing obstacles"...while that some rockets flew by an explosions all in the 3d area....thats what i wanna see.
Now i know its just 3d family movies by now...but im not expecting anything else from Alice to be honest...I wanna see the movie dont get me wrong...but i dont think we get anything special out of it except jonny propably throwing his hat in the audience(htat isnt actually very special).
Would be interested to see Final Destination ...but will never run here in german imax :(

anyway still have high hopes for Avatar but wouldnt mind it to be not in 3d if its just for reaching out and throwing shit.

Well I think the 3D was fantastic and completely makes the movie worth seeing. Yes it was a kids movie and yes the plot was not exceptional but the 3D made it. Everyone seems to talk about the gag shots(lets remember its for kids) and yes there was some but overall 3D enhances any movie and this non-dual camera but conversion really does look that much better. Stop focusing on the gag shots and get the overall impact
