Uh, yeah. "Lacked martial arts skills"? Well, yeah, TF is probably not going to have much for asian style martial arts because it's not an asian-made movie. This thing, not much for robot action. Kind of hard to sympathize with Mr. Lau here. It seems he fell for some of Micheal Bay's irritating camera handling too.
