As much as I want to see more, I think maybe the questions should be left unanswered. On the other hand, I loved District 9 soo much, and I so want to see more. And the ending left a complete open door. So, if there is a sequal, I hope it's good, and I hope they just don't make it for money reasons. @.@ And I hope all the same people are involved.

I loved district 9 and I think that it deserves a sequel because this is one of the only movies int he last 5 years that I felt is worthy of a franchise following. The story can go in so many directions and all of them good. The only way i wouldn't want blomkamp to do a sequel is if the studios and spielberg actually let him go ahead with the Halo: Fall of Reach Film.

SPOLIERS Yeah, I hope they make another film. I don't get this anti-sequel sentiment I'm reading a lot on the webs. People tend to justify it by saying that "the questions should be left unanswered". But think about all the questions which would make an awesome film. Why did they have such awesome firepower? What other space beings have they been battling? If the home planet is only 1 1/2 years away, why didn't those aliens Christopher sets out to commandeer a rescue, come looking for them? Etc etc. It was too epic in ideas to be left with such a small, though spectacular, film. Bring on "District 10 - Prawnography"

not all movies should be left with happy endings or everything to be explained in the sequel.
