Oh my gosh, I was JUST talking about how much I wanted a Spider-Man reboot. Thank.. God. If it IS a reboot, it'd be so over due and well deserved. Spider-Man is amazing, but they were snowballing into fail. -.-; I'll swallow 4 but I'll have higher hopes for 5 and 6. Don't care what anyone says, Raimi wrote a good story, but he didn't do Spider-Man justice, even if it's just by how Peter wasn't funny at aaaall in the movies. No puns, no jokes, nothing. Just his weird emo dance.. that burnt my soul. So, now that they're changing it up, Marvel's starting to have a voice, ect. so it should be for the better! >.> And just for the record, I haaaate Tobey McGuire as Spider-Man.. Haaate. *burns* So hopefully they change up the casting, but even if they don't, I'll be happy they're at least making steps to make it better, because it really was just heading down. In closing, I'm very pleased. <3

thats all so stupid...I already see the new take on Fantastic Four and other reboots of failures in the skies ... gosh its one thing Hollywood doesnt have any ideas and is adapting everything and remaking everything from 20 years ago...but with barely some time between ...

I thought that Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire were on board for Spider-Man 4. Why the sudden talk of rebooting the Spider-Man franchise. All the three Spider-Man movies have been really good, yepp I know some people really didn´t like the third Spider-Man movie, maybe it wasn´t as good as the first and second Spider-Man movies or maybe because Peter Parker found a new style :P .....

Raimi, Maguire and Dunst have signed on for Spider-Man 4, but not 5. If they don't come back for 5 it'll be a reboot.

maybe it becomes the first hero-Franchise that goes the Bond way and switchs the Actors and directors...in time I actually really can see that coming with the hero franchises that can step out from the mass of hero movies... ...yeah just like the batman movies...hopefully not such a failure

How can you reboot something that's only a few years old? Seems like we have to forget about the last ones first.
