yes becuase what people fail to realize is the movie was "Dragonball" not Dragonball Z. It only got interesting watching Goku become stronger and stronger until finally being the strongest in the universe.

me2...but i strongly feel that they could have done a better movie, the writer really did suck, i liked justin chatwin but some of the other actores overacted a little, i think there solucion is not necesarily to reboot, i think vegeta is the greatest caracter of the series, you being a die hard dragon ball fan you should know it, i think they should make a spin off of the vegeta story before the sequel, but of course with a bigger budget, a really good actor and a dam better writer, showing the destruction of planet vegeta and the saiyan race, and how vegeta wines up being freezas soldier, vegeta's story is really dramatic it could make a good film, it could shut up the critics and calm down the die hard fans and bring new fans for the sequel..

All of u people who think movies r suppose to be like the original are idiots. Movies have always been about same characters and ideology but a different story line. This is the way it is, this is the way its going to be, this is the way it has always been. These are the veins of movies. Never will a story be repeated, only rewritten. This is the law of film (X-Men, Spider man, Race to Witch Mountain, Watchmen) So be grateful you get to see another story in another universe so shut up. I am the biggest Dragon Ball fan ever I own all the action figures and some very interesting collectibles the dvd's AND vhs' I even ripped the theme song from one of the episodes for my ring tone so shaddap about how everything sucks and just enjoy whatever comes your way
AND YES I WILL SEE IT

There is only one solution for the Dragonball film franchise and that is:

Reboot along with a new studio behind it and better cast & crew. I'm sure if they hire a creative/innovative writer they could make a understandable Dragonball Z film with proper order and structure.

I do plan on seeing it, even thou I know I'm going to hate it. I'm a fan of Dragonball and DBZ, but I'm not too sure if I want another of these made. Fox does know how too kill a good thing. Just look at the second F4 and X-Men 3.

not if its going to be raped as badly as the first one was. i mean, they've already done so much damage to the franchise with this movie, do they really need to do anymore?
