Just saw it. It was a brilliant movie. Lived up to the anime. and it had some good humour as well:D. (Nothing like "Super Mario Brothers") Piccolo looked very well and James marsters did a very good job. And also we get to see goku turn to a nusaru. Ya i know it might bother some of the cridicts out there that it was in a eclipse rather than a moon. But still i think it was actually a good idea. In the beginning there was some confusion with them refering to oozaru as a seperate being working for piccolo but they then found that it was goku at the end. I was relieved that i saw that cause if he wasn't the oozaru that would have sucked. But it didn't. Just like the anime, goku doesn't find out that he was the oozaru until later aswell. Yes things were done SLIGHTLY different in this movie, but thats what anyone should expect. Yamcha made an appearance which was awsome, krillin doesn't obviously because he doesn't show up till later. There was alot of openings for the second one which is also awsome James Wong and Stephan Chow did a brilliant Job:D

This movie is going to go the way of the original Super Mario Brother's movie, right down the pipe. I couldn't stop laughing after watching that trailer.

Ya. Fox did some good movies too though, Alien, Predator, starwars? I'm sure you can name out a few, "Masterpieces" from other production companies as well. Fox has been around a very long time. Sure they made a few mistakes but they made alot of good movies to. I don't think anyone can make as much money as they have by releasing a load of crap. Anyway personally i don't care, i'm happy enough with the director and the producer after all there the ones who are making the movie. How many movies have stephan chow made with fox? Cause I don't think he made any yet so i wouldn't knock him. As for the budget, maybe not 300 million, but definately well over 100 million. Remember they made a whole city in mexico for this movie. I don't think they're planning to screw up.

Plus let us remember that Fox greenlit such masterpieces as The Happening, Mirrors and X-Files I want to believe - this and that Street fighter look terrible - im thinking fox are thanking god for marley and me and taken eh

This movie will be a success. 3 hundred million dollar budget and stephan chow is producing. To be able to get that much of a budget in the first place, the story needs to be good other wise fox wouldn't risk it. And i don't know what you think but i thought stephan chows last movies, Shaolin Soccer and kung fu hustle were not only brilliant but were also very like DragonBallz. The novel for this movie was written by, Akira Toriyama, who wrote dragonball and dragonballz so whats the problem? Why are you knocking the movie? Cause of the acters? Its not the actors that make the movie, its the movie that makes the actors. You might hate Justin Chatwin now but after you see the movie you'll be thinking he's brilliant. Anyway, i can't wait for this movie:D

hey man you need to check the KAMEHAMEHA from the cartoon and the movie the KAMEHAMEHA in the cartoon is awesome yes me to i have the dragon ball and dragon ball z season 1 to 8 from the start to the finished when goku was a kid to when his grows up i watch it every day and now i will cool with my cartoon then wasting my money on a boring movie and really bad cause in the movie goku doesn't do KAMEHAMEHA like in the cartoon look i know it's a movie so they have to make there own way but truth is the KAMEHAMEHA in the movie sucks oh the sheron the dragon to sucks really bad of you think by look at the pics and trailers it looks good.

but trailer and movie are to deferrent thing check out spider man 3 i was
waiting for three year to see it the pics was good trailer was good and the movie suck
i sleep in the cinema because it was boring why to much talk. look i didn't pay money to watch a boring film i pay my money to watch a an action movie not a drama movie i'm never going to make the same mistake again

I just can't wait for those highly detailed action figures to get made! Look, guys, the fact of the matter is this (especially if you've collected DBZ figures like i have), they made a movie, and regardless of how good or bad it is, we're getting some badass figures out of it!

Overall i think this film could use a little bit more work, but really guys, at least they're trying ok, give'em a little credit because i don't see anyone else taking a crack at trying to pull off a DB movie! There's a first time for everything so lets see what they can give us!

Besides, Goku's suit looks totally badass and we get to see a live-action KAMEHAMEHA, be thankful that we're getting that much at least!

It actually looks better then the last trailer but not sure it will be a hit. I'll will still go see it and is that dragon Shenron or how every u spell it.
