I've read the books, before the movie came out, yes i'll agree it was not prefect. But have anyone read the novels? they are so much better not better then the Harry Potter series, but still great.

Even the actor that plays that vampire guy says the whole series reads like an adolescent girl's wet dream that should be scribbled in a diary rather than published for the world to see.

i thought like dan...i thought it was nothing but emo screamy girls creaming over gay ass looking vampires...but.....i was curiouse to see why they are so screamy and why twilight and vampire movies are the way they are....1st off i have to say this, i like vampires to a point..i am a big fan of the dracula movies accept the dracula 200 shit and beyond that and 30 days of night was stupid! i like the hammer horror vampires, bela legosi and christopher lee and oldmans dracula. john carpenters vampies, fright night, NOSFERATU and so on.. i like the scarey vampire movies..

so when i went into watching twilight i hadn't any hope for this movie i thought was gonna be all emo and completley stupid and gay....i was wrong. i watched it thinking the worst and into the movie some way i said this is not bad. it was kinda good then i finished the movie, and now i see why twilight is a good movie...not a good vampire movie but a good movie. i never read the books so i dont know about them....but i liked the connection they share in the movie, i like how he is like stoned by the smell of her blood,,,,i did not like how the villan was just thrown in like, oh here you go so your boy friend can say it was ok....but all in all i was pleased....i will see new moon, for i am a bigger werewolf guy than vampires.....but i will say this will not be a bigger werewolf movie than the remake of THE WOLF MAN!!!

I am a 50 year old woman and read the series and loved every bit of them I am also a registered american indian and that also intriqued me with jacob and his tribe so if you don't like the movies or the books why bother even taking the time to post how much you dislike it Get over it and find better things to do with your time
