The Simpsons is a much superior show compared to Family Guy. I know it's mostly a personal preference, but I can't stand that show. The jokes are unfunny, stupid and far too drawn out, and I hate the random flashbacks that don't do anything to the "plot" of the episode. The Simpsons is so full of small in jokes, and things written on billboards that often times you have to watch each episode 2 or more times before you get everything. As for a sequel, I much prefer the half hour TV episodes, but the first movie was alright.
