I loved the film. I actually went home and read everything I could on Dillinger, Frichette and Purvis. It really didn’t bother me that Bale and Depp had only five minutes on screen together. I thought the film was beautiful and worth another viewing!

I liked the movie but it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. It is no where even close to being as good as Heat.

I'm not that familiar with the camera techniques (and specific cameras) you mentioned, but it did feel many times like I was watching a History Channel documentary with A-list actors, because of the way it was being shot.

For me, it felt like it had something missing. And i couldnt put my finger on it. Plus i thought (Before i knew it was originally going to be a mini series) that it would work better as a mini series. It genuinely would! Its good, and i would reccomend it. Its just not great
