Yeah, he played Hannibal King in Blade: Trinity. Weren't there were talks of a Nightstalkers spin-off at one point too? I think it would be overkill if he were to play more than one part in the same franchise regularly, I do love him asan actor but it'll just ruin the films eventually.

i know his a comic book fan but this is a overkill if deadpool and green lantern become successful then most likely the studio want to produce sequels we going to see to much of Ryan Reynolds playing these superheros it will piss of the comicbook fans and none comicbook fans.
also Wesley Snipes wanted to play Black Panther when he did Blade 3 but director David S. Goyer said that Wesley Snipes would not likely be Black Panther. "He's already so entrenched as Blade that another Marvel hero might be overkill," said Goyer.
so its true if RR does Green Lantern and Deadpool its a overkill, he already was in Blade 3, Wolverine and now a Green Lantern and Deadpool movie. im a comicbook fan myself but if i was a actor i wont do all these comicbook movies from Marvel and DC.

Well Blade and Black Panther are both from Marvel.
GL and Deadpool are DC and Marvel. Plus they are two completely different characters. I don't think the GA would care too much, I don't think they'd watch GL and be like "Hey that's Deadpool!" or watch Deadpool and be like "Hey that's Hal Jordan!".
And comic book fans won't mind Reynolds because he is admittedly a comic book fan himself. He's been wanting to make Deadpool for like 7 years, he wouldn't just drop it once it's finally green lit. And why not take the G.L role whilst Deadpool still gets a script together or whatever? As a comic book fan he'd know that Hal Jordan is a big character, he'd be silly to turn it down. Deadpool would be something more personal to him i'd imagine.
GL is ready to go basically. Filming starts January next year. It's be released in 2011. And Deadpool was never gonna come out before 2012 regardless of GL I don't think. Reynolds has just done what a young actor with his star on the rise should do. Get big roles.

I don't have a problem with it. Heck, I would love to have Reynolds act half the characters. He is one of the best.
