the premise seems almost extremly similar to a video i saw on youtube... i think it was called the button...

This is a story written by Richard Matheson called "Button Button" and featured in the 1980s Twilight Zone series. Exactly the same story.

Despite having Cameron Diaz in it, I'm rooting for this flick. Looks like it could be cool, if it can avoid slipping into a character-less CGI fest. Can't wait to see the other side of Langella's face either - but let's hope they keep it hidden till you pay your ticket price.
