I'd say it looks like Miller is making a movie that doesn't capture the "Spirit" of the Wil Isner comic. That was a 1930s/40s detective noir look with quirky characters and a seedy depression era look to it.
This looks like a music video or perfume add. Is he going to put all those women in it? The comic stories usually had one or two per story.
