Did I miss something or was Wanted sort of a flop? Why are they making a sequel? I mean, some die hard fans liked it, but most people never saw it.

It made $341 million worldwide on a budget of $75 million. It more than quadrupled it's budget. Plus it was R rated in the US. Universal would have been stupid not to make a sequel. Although, i'm not sure if it will do as well without Jolie.

Hm, maybe I was wrong and just missed the whole craze. I'm usually all about comic-adaptation movies, but, I watched that one, hated it, and anytime I mentioned it to someone, they said they saw the trailer but never went to go see it. Or if they did, they had a negative review. Maybe I'm being unfair, because I simply didn't like it. But wow, it made a lot of money in that case.
And, I heard that they found a way to bring Angelina's character back, so she would still be in the movie. Maybe it was just an internet rumor.
